Meet your Tutor
I personally am excited by math & science subjects, and love to share that with my students. I ask them to share what they love about what they are studying with me. Although I also understand when they don’t love it and just want to pass the class!
With my degree in Biochemistry and mathematics undergraduate coursework, it has been my pleasure over the years to work with a variety of students at many different levels. I enjoy Love teaching and helping students understand and succeed.

What should the student bring?
The more problems, homework, and sample tests you bring the better. And if course book, pencil, and paper. If you use a calculator for tests let’s use the same one to practice with. Anything you can email to me in advance of our meeting can only help you get the most out of our time together.
How long are the appointments?
Appointments last an academic hour of 50 minutes, although if there is time I often go an extra few minutes.
How do I keep track of appointments?
I usually send out appointment reminder emails the day before. A quick thanks to let me know you’re coming is great but no response does mean that I think you’re coming. The emails have the date and time of the appointment as the subject.
Do I need anything special for virtual meetings?
It is possible to have productive meetings with only the camera and audio meeting. But it is better if the student has a digital pen and notetaking app so I can see what you are writing.
What if I need to cancel an appointment?
Please give 24 hours’ notice. If less than 24 hours’ notice please pay the full amount. Exceptions in cases of emergency like sudden illness or weather. Although even in an emergency please let me know you won’t be available.
I need to reschedule more than 24 hours in advance.
No problem! Weekends and weekdays before 3 typically have the most availability. After school weekdays are the most in demand and the hardest to get on short notice, but I’ll try!
How do I pay?
For in person students cash is preferred.
Students can also use Venmo or PayPal.
